What you see in the show
The show lasts about half an hour and takes place in an open hall with tiered seating. The handlers work with cobras, pythons and water snakes, and demonstrate the snake's body language — when it signals a warning, when it is calm, and how to tell the difference.
The part that draws the most attention is the work with the spectacled cobra, which rears up and spreads its hood. The distance between the handler and the snake is kept throughout the show, and the audience sits behind a barrier.
Who this suits
For children who love animals and for anyone who wants to see something they do not see at home. The show is a demonstration and not a circus; there are no tricks, there is an explanation of behaviour.
Anyone afraid of snakes will enjoy it less, and that is fair enough. The photo with the python at the end is optional, not compulsory, and you can simply sit and watch.
How to plan the visit
The complex is relatively small, and the whole visit takes about an hour including free time after the show. That makes it convenient to combine with another activity on the same day.
It is worth arriving about fifteen minutes before the show starts to get a seat in the front rows, where the view is best.
