How the photo session works
The photo is taken with a handler from the complex who stays beside the animal the whole time and directs you where to stand and where not to. The encounter is short and focused — a few photos rather than a long session.
All three options — lion, tiger and orangutan — are the same price, and you can choose more than one. The animals in the complex are used to visitors, and the handler sets the distance and the contact.
Who this suits
For families and for anyone who wants a photo they will not get at home. This is a static, short activity with no physical effort.
Small children are sometimes frightened at the moment of truth even if they were excited beforehand. It is worth deciding in advance that it is fine to skip it on the spot.
What is worth knowing in advance
The handler's instructions are not a recommendation. A sudden movement, uncoordinated contact or an attempt to feed — all of these are forbidden, and that is for your safety and the animal's.
Check in advance what the venue's policy is on photos with your own camera versus paid photos. It varies between the animals and sometimes between days.
