Patong is the island's entertainment centre, and Bangla Road is the street that closes to traffic in the evening. From it branch alleys with bars, clubs and live music, and it is all crowded and loud.

This is the area you come to for the night itself. Anyone who wants to sleep early and hear nothing is better off sleeping in another area and coming to Patong for the evening.

Beach clubs for the afternoon hours
