The five zones
and each of them is a different world
Andaman Bay It's the heart: a giant wave pool with a sloped artificial beach. The waves rise in cycles, and it's the place where people spend the most time.
Emerald Forest It's the family area, medium slides, shallow pools, and a The water bucket the big bucket that tips over every few minutes on those standing underneath it.
Coral World Dedicated to young children: shallow water, short slides and fountains. This is the safest area in the park.
Naga Jungle It's the extreme area. That's where the high and steep slides are, including slides with free fall and tube slides in the dark.
Pearl Palace It's the quiet area - a lazy river that surrounds the park, calm pools and shaded seating areas.
The park is spread over a large area, and walking between the zones is part of the day. You can't do it all in two hours.

How to plan the day

Arrive at opening, at 10:00. In the first two hours the lines are short, and you can do the extreme slides without waiting.
Then, when it's full, you move to the wave pool and the lazy river, where the crowding is less noticeable because the zones are large.
Set aside a full day. Those who arrive at 15:00 manage only a small part of what they paid for, and the last entry is at 18:30 anyway.
The late afternoon hours are especially nice, the heat drops, the light is soft, and some visitors are already leaving.
There are food stalls and restaurants inside, and payment there is through The electronic wristband that you receive at the entrance and load with money. What's left is refunded on exit.
What to bring and what not to

Swimsuit, Sunscreen and hat. Most of the day in the sun and water, and waterproof sunscreen is a must.

Andamanda is located in Kathu, in the center of Phuket, not far from Patong. The drive from Patong is about 15 minutes, from Kata and Karon about 25, and from Bang Tao and Surin about 30.
The ticket with transport costs 600 THB more for an adult and 350 for a child. For a family of four that's almost 2,000 THB, it's usually cheaper to book a taxi or Grab round trip.

Every slide in the park has its own height requirement, and it is marked at the entrance to every attraction. There is no uniform requirement for the whole park.
The extreme slides in Naga Jungle require the highest height, and some also have a weight limit. This is checked at the station and not at the park entrance.
