Alcazar is A cabaret show on a big stage, and it has been running in Pattaya since the seventies. It is built from a sequence of short musical sketches, each with its own set and costumes, and all performed in playback.
The performers are Transgender women, and this show is one of the places where this craft in Thailand is seen at its best: precise choreography, expensive costumes and large-scale production.
The program moves between styles, Traditional Thai segments, Bollywood, Korea, Broadway and Las Vegas, and each one has a fully changing set.
There is no dialogue and no language problem. The show is entirely musical and visual.

The photo involves a tip. It's not written anywhere and it's not mandatory, but it's completely customary, around 100 THB per photo. Those who don't want to, simply continue on their way out.
It's worth keeping small bills before the show. There is no change booth there, and giving 1,000 THB for a photo is not what is meant.
