Privacy in Messages and Data Deletion
This page complements the website's privacy policy and explains what happens to the information you send us in messages, comments and on social media.
1. Messages, comments and social media
When you write to Thailand Express on Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct or WhatsApp, or comment on or reply to our posts on Facebook, Instagram or Threads, we receive your name or username as shown on that platform, the platform's ID for you, the text and media you send, and the time. We use this only to answer you, to pass your request to our staff, and, when you ask about a trip, to create an inquiry in our customer system so we can follow up.
Some first answers are written with the help of an AI service (Google Cloud Vertex AI) that processes the text of your message on our behalf. Google does not use this data to train its models. You can ask for a person at any time by writing "agent" (or "נציג").
We do not sell this information and do not use it for advertising outside our own pages. It is stored on our hosting provider's servers (Hostinger) and in our customer system. We keep conversations for 12 months, then delete them; inquiries are kept as long as needed for the trip and our legal obligations.
2. Data deletion
You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you from our messages, comments and inquiries:

Write "delete my data". We confirm and delete within 30 days, except information we must keep by law (for example invoices).
If you used Facebook Login with an app of ours, you can also remove it in Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove "Thailand Express HUB"; we then delete the data we received through it.
3. Website analytics without IP addresses or cookies
Our website measures visits with its own tool, only after you agree to measurement. It sets no cookies and stores no IP address: your approximate country and city are worked out at the moment of the visit and the IP address is then dropped.
We record the page, the site you came from, campaign tags in the link (utm), device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), language, and where on the page you clicked (position only, never what you type, and never inside forms).
A random visit number lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. Detailed records are deleted after 90 days; we keep only daily totals.
Third-party tools the website uses, if you agreed to them, are listed in the cookie notice of our privacy policy.
4. Our social media publishing tool
We publish our own posts and videos to our Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube and TikTok accounts through our own publishing tool. It acts only on Thailand Express's own accounts.
